DESCRIPTION:Whether you are a parent\, grandparent\, concerned neighbor\, or someone in the helping profession\, the Kosair for Kids Face It Movement wants to empower YOU to be a face that ends child abuse in the Commonwealth. We each can take the following steps to ensure every child can grow up happy\, healthy\, and hopeful! \nVolunteer at our partner organizations to support their efforts to prevent and end child abuse. \nReach out to parents or caregivers in your life to offer a helping hand or words of encouragement. \nCheck out Face It resources and place an order to distribute materials in your community. \nShare resources with family members\, friends\, and neighbors and encourage them to sign up for regular supportive text messages from Face It by texting FaceIt to 833-FaceIt1. \nAttend Face It and community partner events throughout the month of April. \nDonate to the Kosair Kids Child Abuse Prevention Fund to support these efforts. \nFollow us on Facebook\, X\, and Instagram.

DESCRIPTION:Our fan-favorite Mom’s Night Out is back\, and this time we’re throwing a PAJAMA PARTY! Dress in your comfiest\, coziest jammies\, and join us for a fabulous lineup of totally relaxing and totally pampered activities plus a delicious meal—all free to mommas of children with disabilities! We think it’s time for you to take a break\, so join us for a night of relaxation\, connection\, and fun. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.\, and you will have the opportunity to sign up for optional massage\, yoga\, and connection room time slots after checking in. \nIn an effort to allow as many moms as possible to experience Mom’s Night Out\, registration for moms who have not yet attended an MNO will open at 9 a.m. on Thursday\, March 6th. Registration for all others will begin at 12 p.m. that same day. PLEASE NOTE: You will receive a confirmation email from tyler@barrenheights.org within three business days of your registration. Your spot at this event is NOT confirmed until you receive your confirmation email. \nThis event is sponsored by Barren Heights\, Critically Loved\, Down Syndrome of Louisville\, and FEAT of Louisville.
