DESCRIPTION:Whether you are a parent\, grandparent\, concerned neighbor\, or someone in the helping profession\, the Kosair for Kids Face It Movement wants to empower YOU to be a face that ends child abuse in the Commonwealth. We each can take the following steps to ensure every child can grow up happy\, healthy\, and hopeful! \nVolunteer at our partner organizations to support their efforts to prevent and end child abuse. \nReach out to parents or caregivers in your life to offer a helping hand or words of encouragement. \nCheck out Face It resources and place an order to distribute materials in your community. \nShare resources with family members\, friends\, and neighbors and encourage them to sign up for regular supportive text messages from Face It by texting FaceIt to 833-FaceIt1. \nAttend Face It and community partner events throughout the month of April. \nDonate to the Kosair Kids Child Abuse Prevention Fund to support these efforts. \nFollow us on Facebook\, X\, and Instagram.

SUMMARY:FEAT Family Swim
DESCRIPTION:Join us for FEAT family swim. The therapy pool is fully accessible for those with special considerations\, equipped with an aquatic wheelchair\, a stretcher lift\, a zero-depth entry ramp\, and an exercise bench. The facility also offers a splash pad for small children and aquatic exercise equipment including stationary bikes\, treadmills\, and an elliptical machine. In addition to locker rooms featuring lifts and adjustable shower tables\, there are also family changing rooms. The saltwater pool has a UV filter and is heated to 92 degrees for therapeutic benefit. \n  \nParents/guardians need to always be with the swimmer in the water and out of the pool for the duration of the event. Swimmers do not have to have a sibling to participate.
